A free, open companion service for the CrossPoint e-reader. It lets an AI assistant answer questions about the book you're currently reading — using only the text up to where you've actually read, so nothing ahead gets spoiled.
Your e-reader sends the read-so-far text of your current book, its title, and your reading position to this service. When you connect it to an assistant that speaks the Model Context Protocol (such as Claude), the assistant can read that context to answer your questions about the story so far.
The reader firmware and the relay are open source; this hosted service runs on Cloudflare. You can self-host instead of using it.
Reading data auto-expires after 90 days of inactivity, and you can delete everything at any time. See the Privacy Policy, or manage your data now.
